  no audio during playback

  hi

  ok this is an insane bug. i am almost finished with the show and deadline is this friday and of course
  something has to give.
  playing my timeline i suddenly don’t hear any audio. but the audio system in the cpu works.
  i find out that the audio files in the timeline are not metered in the audio meter, but they have waveforms and worked before.
  when i double click on an audio file in the timeline i can hear the audio outside the selection but when it runs into the selected audio field it is dead mute as well the meter too!!. i rendered out a piece of the timeline but it wouldn’t register the audio either.
  this is new. and i have not an idea how to fix it.
