so there is no audio when you do a RAM preview? Are you hitting 0 on the keypad to preview?

check in Composition -> Preview -> Audio … it should be ticked…

yes, there’s a preview in ram preview, audio preview(here forward) and audio preview(work area).

if i hold down control(ctrl) while dragging on the timeline, there is also.

    when rendering, there’s none.

in render settings > output module > output audio: OFF

how can i turn it on?

got it… in output module > click losslesS

An OUTPUT MODULE SETTINGS will pop-up.

at the bottom, check the AUDIO OUTPUT.

hope this helps to others who has audio problems too.

by the way, i’m using wav format for the audio.

    cheers!!!

I don’t get this whole audio thing.
Sometimes it plays back in ram preview, but never for the entire comp. I gather from these forums that it will only play about 10 or 15 sec of the clip since it fills up the RAM.
I’ve rendered it two or three times (AVI I believe with the AUDIO OUTPUT checked) but the file is audio-less when played on windows media player. I’ve even tried importing the new file back into Premire Pro but the audio is still missing. What am I doing wrong? Or what should I be doing? Am I expecting too much? The program has crashed several times on me if I try to playback the entire comp. which is only 1 min. with only a few effects and text (Runtime error???) I’m running Windows XP with 2Gb Ram.

    Thanks in advance.
