No AAC audio using Sony AVC (.mp4) SVP11.

Did you ever find out what your issue was? I am having the exact same issue rendering .mp4, with Include Audio box checked, and no matter what the settings, there is still no sound in the video.

Sound works fine when rendered to all other formats.

Hi,
not a proper solution but if you reduce the bitrate to 112,000bps then you’ll get audio. When I render out something for youTube or vimeo then I use now 112,000. Anything higher won’t work. I’ve told Sony about this bug a while ago but haven’t heard anything back.

Hmm. That won’t work. Perhaps you can update the bug with Sony to say I’m having the same issue with SVP 11- latest version.
