Has anybody else had issues with importing Nikon D800 video files into FCP (6.0.6)?
The format is H264. This is the first time I’ve ever had crashing problems with H264.

    Cams: Z1, EX3, HDX900.

In what way is this paid for Brorsoft Converter better than MPEGStreamclip or Compressor? Nikon files are just H264 after all.

Interesting. I followed the link and found some paid for software that triggered a block in the Cow forum when I typed the name in, suggesting this software is perhaps not what it seems.

I would like to know why free software like MPEGStreamClip or just using Compressor wouldn’t work if Nikon are just making H264 quicktimes??

Yes I know and I have it already. My question is why do you think the paid for software is better?
