    Hi there!

I’m making a video for a client who is promoting smarthphone cases for glucose tests, to be presented on crowfunding.

I’m having a hard time making nice-looking reflections to the model, I want it to be like this (first 7 seconds)
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6dsRpVyyWs

And here’s the video I did so far

How can I achieve those fine, sophisticated relfections on the model?

So far I only activated the default specular. I have been playing around with Beckmann reflections to reflect pure luminance objects such as discs, HDR images, but the results are totally random and far from what I want, which is the iPhone look as shown in the video.

    Any ideas or thoughts?

You’re on the right track using reflection and objects and/or HDR images. It’s just a matter of using the right HDRI + trial and error. It will help if you use the Interactive Render Region so you can see what you’re doing in near real time.
