  Newscutter Quicktime Export

  I’m using the latest (and one step behind) version of Avid Newscutter at work and when I export Quicktime movie at 720p I keep getting files where the blacks are heavily compressed and artifacting.

  The footage is being shot on Ikegami Editcam, being cut (but not imported) in Avid Newscutter. So far what I have is the best quality option I’ve discovered – Quicktime export to DVCPRO NTSC – I was wondering if there was an option for a cleaner export?

  I’ve seen a lot about exporting Quicktime reference and using another encoder program, but I’m literally exporting at work, popping it on a flash drive, and then bringing it home to cut in Final Cut Express at home.
