Hi everyone and of course Floh!

I recently upgraded an old M100 to version 8.2.2

i also moved it up to one of a newer computers we had , dual 1 ghz G4 mirrored dorrs with 768 mb ram

I have quicktime 6.5.3 installed and Os x 10.3 installed

I updated the firmware on the boards and installed software and it seems fine until i try to capture
I ran the hardware test and board is fine

The picture is breaking up on the capture windows, (not blocky or pixelized) but just tearing of the picture in the middle of the video and When I try to play it back it will not playback fine and it’s tearing up

The orginal footage fine and I tried it with a dsr-11, dsr-45 and HDV deck capturing s-video and composite ( no dv board installed) but its still tearing up.

I also tried it capturing in my m100 HD and the video is fine.

Do you know what the problem could be?

could it be because i don’t have osx 10.3.1?

    Thanks for your help

    Paul

Sounds like either a bad board or a sync issue. Can you post a picture of the problem somewhere?
