This is happening more quite often: NewBlue’s Titler Pro crashes Vegas Pro 11 randomly during usage. I cannot pin pint the cause.

    Arethere any reasons for this?

Today I created a track with NewBlue Titler Pro 1.x, moved it several tracks down, then deleted an empty track below it. Then VP11 crashed. I think NBTP has issues with Vegas Pro 11. errg! NBTP is causing lots of crashes. I’ve have snce uninstalled NBTP 1.x and have gone back to using BorisFX RED5 until they get it fixed in an updated patch. I like the interface, but it needs tweaking. I would wonder if the AE set are having the same issues. Hmm?

“Unmanaged Exception” is almost always a driver problem.

You didn’t say what video card you have, but if you are using a late-model nVidia/GeForce video card, the 285.79-Beta driver appears to fix a lot of problems in Vegas installations.

Oh, I thought it was listed above, I have a 9600 GT 1GB, so, yeah – fairly old.

I had the exact same problem with Vegas Pro 11 and NB Titler Pro. Upgraded my Nvidia driver to Beta 290.53 for Win 7 64-bit. So far, so good.

I have been using the Beta 290.53 driver but still seem to get errors.

    I have tried beta 295. Should I roll back to 285.79 ?

On my machine, 285 was awful – nothing worked right. 290 is working fine.
