newbie with question
Hi
I wanted to know if there is any place in NJ that teaches the basics of FCP. sort of a crash course. I come from a photography background and even thought i have great equipment , computer , monitor FCPHD etc i need help 🙂 I found a place in NYC that has 3 hour crash courses to learn the basics of FCP and they even have a service that would send an instructor to your home/studio. I can go into NYC for the course but would prefer if an instructor came to my studio to make sure that my equpment is set up properly. any information would be greatful.

One solution is, if there is an Apple Store acceptably close by, is to pay $100 and sign up for a year of ProCare w/ Apple (www.apple.com/retail/procare/). You can sign up for 1 hour sessions w/ one of the FCP specialists at the store for one-on-one tutoring and questions. One limitation is you have to go to the store.

There’s not a lot of market to try and set up 3 hour courses for FCP since it would barely teach you anything in that timeframe.
It sounds like you want more of a custom teaching to augment what you already know. So there isn’t going to be courses for that.
So the best thing is going to be to find some local ‘expert’ that can spend some time teaching you what you want.
