Newbie with Playback Issues
I am new to Final Cut and am editing something on the dv format. I have digitized all of my footage, but when I created my edit and tried to view the playback every three seconds or so I will get an error message. The message says that there was a dropped frame and gives a list of how to solve the problem. I went down the list and tried to solve the problem but it continues to find dropped frames. Let me know if you have any ideas for a solution.

2. What version of FCP?
3. What kind of Hard Drive did you capture to?
4. What kind of monitor (Computer or External)?
5. Did you use “Easy Setup” for DV NTSC? (or DV PAL, if that’s where you are)
