newbie Vegas Video Slideshow Help
I am new to Vegas, currently using Vegas Pro v8.0b. I try to rearrange photos in a slideshow and having a hard time with the workflow. I searched online help and the web but don’t find an easy solution. Here is the scenerio:
I put many photos on the timeline. I need an easy way to move photos around. I don’t seem to be able to move a photo by dragging a photo on timeline from one location to another within the same track. When I drag the photo, it left a hole there. And when I drop the photo, it lays on top of another photo instead of inserting into the timeline.
Also, it is cumbersome if I only want to drag one photo. In Vegas, when I drag a photo to move, all photos on the right also moves even though I didn’t select them. I have to click the group icon (to ungroup) and then drag/drop and then click group icon again (as I generally like the group icon to be on). Is there a short-cut key that I can assign (such as Ctrl key) which allows me to hold it down while drag a photo/event (or selected photos) from one location to another. Once photo is dropped into the timeline, it will inserted there instead of overlay it and no gap left. This is how is done in Pinnacle Studio. Very easy and intuitive.
Thanks.
