    Hi,
I am new to this forum – hope you can help.
I have made a number of small videos using Movie Studio Platinum 13.
I want to now create a multi-title DVD project.
However, when I am unable to do so.

When making a single title DVD there is no issue.
When I attempt to add one of the titles to a compilation DVD and error message comes up stating “the selected file is not of the required type”.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Lisa

For DVD you should use Project | Render As… and render your video to MainConcept MPEG2 using one of the DVD Architect … templates and render your audio to Dolby Digital AC3 and give it the same filename (except with the .ac3 extension, of course). You can then drop these into DVD Architect and it will accept them.

    Hi Lisa,

I only have access to DVD Architect Pro, but I’m pretty sure the Studio version allows creation of DVDs with multiple titles.
Assuming you’ve rendered your movies as John has recommend, you would create a “Menu-Based Disc” in DVD Architect and then use the Add Media for the additional titles. Menu based disc is usually the default in DVDA. Once the Menu page is up, right click on the Project Overview panel on the left side and select “Insert Media” for each of your Movies.
