    Newbie question on CC Ligh Sweep

    New to AE. Quick question…I wanted to have 2 light sweeps across some text in the same direciton. I understand how to set the keyframe at one side, move forward in time and set it at the other side, but how do I get it back to the starting point without it animating the light sweep backwards? I have a lightsweep right now that goes back and forth, I want it to go twice in one direction.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    I wouldnt keyframe it. Simply duplicate your layer with the sweep and offset it to whenever you want it to begin.

    I would just add another instance of the CC Light Sweep effect to the layer.
