  Newbie question

  I am brand new at After Effects and am trying out a few templates from third party authors. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make these compositions fill my entire screen…
  The template size is 1920×1080. The “show” has an aspect ratio of 16×9. The composition is too rectangular on my screen, cutting off images and leaving unwanted black edges on the top and bottom.
  I’m hoping this is just a really amateur question and that there’s a simple solution either for resizing the composition/template and/or changing the aspect ratio of the show. Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks so much in advance!
