    I’m a newbie, practicing writing expressions. I went through one of drozda’s tutorials (much fun!) and am trying to put my own spin on one of his expressions that was not well explained in the tutorial (its the ‘radar’ tutorial).

    Anyway, I’m trying to use the math.pow() and math.sqrt() to define x and y variables, and keep getting the After Effects warning: “Class ‘Layer’ has no property of method named ‘math’ Expression disabled.”

    Seems like I’m missing something simple. Am I missing a plug in or something?

    Thanks in advance.

    You need a capital “M” –> Math.pow()

    Dan,

    I’m red faced, but also very thankful.

    I’ll pay attention to my syntax.
    Thanks for your non-judgemental help!!
