    Hi Cow’ers,

Just getting onto Cinema 4d now after working in motion graphics for years, hit an infuriating stumbling block already.

Played around with lots of text which was great. Now i’m trying to do some basic modelling, however every time I try and extrude a face or move a point or something basic, I get lots of odd points and edges appear. Even when i try and delete the random edges that seem to pop up I end up with a model with holes in and all kinds of wierdness. It totally flips out when I get hypernurbs involved. I have tried to be careful with what i’m selecting, using the correct tools, but the problem persist. I’ve looked at some tutorials but have to stop as soon as this issue complicates things.

Any ideas what i’m doing wrong? Is there a option for ‘keep faces together’ or something similar that I’ve not checked in prefs?

    Cheers
