Newbie ? of how to get a Photo behind a Shrunken Video?
Hello
I am Very new to Sony Vegas, I have Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 6.0 on my PC . I’m liking playing around with it.
I have a idea that I want to make a video based on a Newspaper where the photos in it turn to video,
I have managed to shrink the video’s down to a size & position that is good for this, I have managed to add a image (that will end up being the newspaper part) to the video, but what I am not seeing is a way of moving the Jpeg picture back behind the video. Could somebody assist me please? To me it sounds like it would be a easy thing to do but I can’t find anything to move the Jpeg back behind the video
Any help is appreciated

try putting the JPEG on a track below the video track in the timeline. tracks on top in the timeline will show up on top in the playback and rendered video.

Thank you very much for replying Danny, it worked & was very easily done Thanks, a similar question, on Coral Draw I can make a section of a Jpeg or gif see through by doing a colour mask & invert, I tried using a jpeg like this in the video software but my Jpeg wasnt see through, do you know of a way for me to do that same trick with a Jpeg on top in Sony vegas but can see through to a video behind?

Not in Vegas, Photoshop can make a png picture with an alpha channel(transparent).
