    Howdy all…

New build HP Z820 dual Xeon 2670 Xeons, 128 GB ram, 20 TB raid 5 array pushing 1000MB+ read, K4000 GUI, Titan GPU, Decklink 4k extreme I/O Resolve full, Adobe CC.

System is stable, and quick. The only problem I’m having is ouptut from the decklink. If it’s enabled in Resolve, I get 2 seconds of playback and then crash. Every time. No output. Disable decklink and I get 24fps on my BMCC footage with multiple nodes and noise reduction…

If I select blackmagic playback in premiere, no output and GUI won’t play video, only audio. Un-tick blackmagic playback and GUI and functionality is fine.

I anyone has lived through a similar experience and has any hints… I’d really appreciate it.

    Thanks,
    Dave Cox

Try and update the z820 firmware. I had a “PCI serr” BSOD error with my extreme 3d+ and a firmware update to the Z820 fixed it

Thanks for your reply. I’m on the latest bios for the z820, do you know what bios you are using?

I got a response from blackmagic, they are aware of the issue and are working on an updated driver.
