  New Workstation PC or Mac Tube

  We have gotten budget to replace two of our edit machines and I am torn as to replace with the New mac or go with a HP Z series. We currently use Macs but I feel we have more errors and issues with them then I do my personal PC running Avid (but that might but be a bias I have).

  Does any one have any experience with MC running on a New Mac Tube. Are there any compelling factors to get if over a HP (specially now that Hp is implementing Thunderbolt into the workstations)

  We have about $4,300 to use on each machine, which will be used for Tower, Ram, I/O, and possibly control surfaces. We will not need to get hard drive storage, Monitors, Sound,speakers, and Keyboards.
