I believe the CS4 upgrade included a way to generate a single frame from the timeline without having to go through AME. I’ve been unable to locate any documentation on how to do it. Appreciate a how-to from somebody. Thanks.

-make sure your at the frame you wish to export

-go to File>Export>Media (or just ctrl-M)

-the settings box will open (making you think it’s going the AME route)

-in the FORMAT drop down choose a still image format (gif, tif, or tga) and a PRESET (if necessary)

-click ok then save and you’re good to go

    Marco:

I’m working with Prem Pro CS4. Though I have a version of AE, but I seldom use it. I checked out ObviousFX, and it seems like it could be worthwhile to those working in AE. Thanks for the suggestion.
