Hi, I have recently gone from using Avid Liquid to Final Cut Pro 7. i am getting to grips with the program but have a couple of questions.

    1. when slowing down clips can you choose options like you can in Avid Liquid. i.e Cut Frames, Mix Frames, Progressive, Cut & Mix Fields?

    2. Also i imported some old footage (720p) but when i play it back it it seems to stutter really badly. the file extension is mv2 if that helps.

Any help will be greatly apreciated. Thank You.

You have just a Frame Blending option.

That’s an MPEG-2 and probably won’t play very well in the time-line. See how it looks when rendered to QT. If it have problems, you should transcode it.
