wel as you kan see by the thread name im new to making video’s. and ive tryed windows movie maker but that made my pc crash. so i got sony vages and i make videos of me and my friends playing a online game. and here is a video sample (you dont have to see it):https://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=XSj_UDlRlBg

and as you see it looks really low res and has bad quality. now my question is. how exactly do i get it to a bit higher quality so atleast people view it fully without going to the next video after 4 seconds.

and another question i got was: how do i get flashes into it. i wanted to do a flash evrytime i shot where kan i find the flash and then where must i place it
hopefully somebody kan tell me. ive asked around on youtube too but nobody ever replyed

    grtz, sjors

    Sjors,
    Welcome to the group.
One of the best ways to kepp someone watching your video is with good content. It may just be me but I can’t get into watching a video of a video game. But if there are people that like to watch that sort of thing you want to make it as pleasing as ypou can. You might do a search on the forum for quality UTube Videos. That topic has been discussed many times with several different suggestions. It used to be that you wanted to send it in Flash (which Vegas does not yet output)but I think maybe that has changed. Search.

Seconly, by a ‘flash’ do you mean a white flash like a flash bulb has gone off or do you mean a muzzle flash?

    Hi
Yes, welcome to the Sony Vegas Forum.

As far as encoding for You Tube, here’s a link to a You Tube video that explains exactly how to do that
