May 30, 2011 at 1:33 pmHi Guys!
Finally got all of the .MTS file transferred to ProRes. Footage is in FCP and now everything seems to be working fine. However, I am uncertain about my sequence settings. What should I have all of my sequence settings at? I tried searching this topic, before asking, but can’t seems to find a complete break down. Thank you for your help!

May 30, 2011 at 2:25 pmYour sequence should match your clips.
You shot 1920X1080.
Do you convert to Prores 1080?
Are you @ 60i or 30p or 24p?Look @ your clips in the browser.
Drop a clip into a new sequence and let FCP change sequence settings to match.Chris Tompkins

June 9, 2011 at 11:43 amIt’s me again! I am finally done with this HD edit, and exporting. I have been reading other posts and this is what I have tried so far:
Export quicktime – current settings
Export quicktime – apple ProRes22and I have now used compressor using DVD BEst 150 min. leaving me with m2v and ac3 files.
Here is my problem: The video is dragging after dvd burn, and even worse, it’s a tiny box in the middle of the screen??? It doesn’t fill the screen? Is this something that I have done wrong in FCP? or during my exporting?
Thank you for your help.
Also, will idvd support HD?
