    Hey All -Ive seen this Paint sploch or Paint spoting technique oh and even paint dripping-On MTV for the Viva la Bam intro and MTV commericals –Ive seen it on some other demos as well —

    Does anyone know how this is done-very interesting effect. Just curious if this is done by a plug in or what

    It’s easier to do it yourself by splattering paint onto a bit of paper (white paint on black paper works best) and then let it dry and scan the result. Place it to taste.

    What you can do is first search the web for Photoshop brushes that resemble that effect, it comes bundled with it already and with some modifications you can make them look real good. Then create the drips in a photoshop doc. then save and bring into AE. THen to make them drip just mask them and animate the mask.
