New PC for Production studio use
I am getting a PC for editing video doing, motion graphics work in AE(not heavy stuff around 5 to 10 layers per project) and creating DVDs. I have 2 G5s. One os a 1.6 and a dual 2.0. I also have a PC (P4 3GHZ multithreaded with 1.25GB.) It is a Dell on the low end. My budget is $1300 and I am only working in DV right now. I am about to get a Gateway b/c of what I can get under $1300. I would like some feedback on the specs and suggestions.
I am going with a DX420s configured.

You don’t need RAID0. Get a second drive though. You need one for a system drive and one for video, at a minimum.
