New Mercalli
I’ve purchased the new Mercalli Image Stabilization program. Does a nice job but it keeps stopping part way through its stable process and says it’s out of memory and to close other programs. No other programs are open.
Is there a setting in Vegas that will give this plug in some more room to work. I’m thinking of the dynamic ran settings in particular.

Is this with the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Vegas? The 64-bit version should give you more memory.

It’s with the 32 bit version. I use other plug-ins that don’t support 64 bit and that’s always a problem that seems to get in the way.

Unfortunately, this is a huge stumbling block to 64-bit really taking off. I use the 32-bit version of vegas 99% of the time too for this very reason.
What I would do is stabilize the footage with Mercalli V2 in Vegas Pro 64-bit and render it to Cineform and then use the Cineform files in Vegas 32-bit. If you don’t have Cineform you could render back to M2T (it should hold up fine).

John, I have a question. I got the Stand Alone Version of Mercalli V2. It does a great job stabilizing. But during the export process, it always stalls at %48. Do you have any clue why it does this? I use Windows 7 64 bit. Please respond ASAP.
