  • New MBP- Too partition or not to Partition!

    Hello,
I thought I posted this yesterday, but my post was nowhere to be found.
    MY question:

I just purchased a new MBP and I am going to be editing on it as a secondary machine:
Do I make a new partition for my scratch disks?
Or do I lump everything onto the 200g drive that is installed.

On my work machine, I run apps and OS on one disk, and media on the other.

    Anyone have any advice?
I have never worked with partitions.

    cheers,
    zack

Neither. Get an external drive and use it for your media. Using the internal drive is just not a good idea.
