It says the new 24″ LED displays. But two 30″ displays just require the adapter.
Two graphics cards are going to be a BIG issue unless Color is updated shortly. It can’t operate right now with more than one graphics card. Also, I don’t have room for two cards with any of my current Macs.
According to the AMD page, the ATI 4800 series have two DVI ports on them.

Ok, I’ll start with this one.
Q. Why does Apple want you to use more than one graphics cards to drive two monitors and yet still keep the same number of slots?
A. Good Question.
See the problem when you add that 2nd graphics card is that it’s going to block the slot above it unless they’ve added more room, but looking at the photos, it doesn’t look like it. So now you’re down to two slots for anything other than graphics cards. AJA Kona 3 and one Storage Card for me.
No eSata card. No additional FW card and such.

Actually looking again, it looks like they’ve narrowed the graphics cards so they don’t block the slot above them now.

March 3, 2009 at 3:41 pmWhat’s the thinking with removing the FW400 ports? I don’t get it. I have some FW400 backup drives and now no way (without a card) to input my HDV or HDX900.

You just need to buy new FW800 to FW400 cables.
Is curious that the basic configuration comes with 6GBs RAM.
About the “adaptor’ that Peter and Walter mentions, what means?
A kind of conexion to plug two monitor to one DVI?
US$ 7.149 + 2 Dell 24” is the what I’ll like (2.93Ghz/16GB RAM/2x1TB HD).
