New Mac pro – Apple France let the cat out of the bag
Hi everybody,
First post on the Cow, just to let you Know this :After the other day when the online Apple Store was down, on the french online Apple Store, the title of the web page was : “nouveau Mac pro-livraison gratuite” which means : “new Mac pro – free shipping”.
Only on the french store.
Did’nt have Time to capture screen.Hope you enjoyed the news !

Interesting that there’s no supply constraint that one typically sees just before a new model.
I’m not seeing that with MacBookPro either though and we know that’s coming.
I wonder if one thing that’s changed recently is supply chain management. -

You didn’t need to capture the screen. It still says this.
Doesn’t seem like much of anything.

There is a suppy constraint. Many people reporting not getting the machine they ordered a month after they ordered it.

I’ve heard that too but I don’t know the circumstances. The store says in stock for all but the 12 core which is 2-4 days. If there is a supply constraint I think that means there’s something on the way otherwise Apple would just pull the plug if they don’t intend on delivering.

The graphics card on all those is an ATI HD 5770 – a 2009 low cost model.
