I got a new 8 core 2 x 2.93 Quad Intel box 16gig RAM. With it a ATI Radeon HD 4870 monitor card.

When I open a project with Boris titles in it, everything crashes. I went to Boris’s website and it shows this graphics card is not supported by Boris.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks

Have you found any other problems with the new system? Are you using a 3rd party capture card and array?

I haven’t found any other problems with other plugins. I have a Black Magic Capture card. And have 3) 2 TB Sata external drives.

I’ve been working with the Boris engineers, they are stumped as well.

    Hi
I’m thinking about getting the ATI Radeon HD 4870 card in my new Mac, but I use Graffiti 5.3, and your post has me concerned. I went to the Boris website, but can’t find anywhere where they list approved/not approved graphics cards. Can you provide a link? Also, was your problem ever resolved? Thanks-

    Mike

Boris has a new release on there website that we finally got it resolved. You will need to download that version and trash your other version both as a standalone and the Final Cut Plugins
