  New IMac 2017 and Sonnet DX Thunderbolt Adapter

  Howdy,
   
  I was wondering if you anyone by chance had reviewed the workability of having a Avid Nitris DX to to a Sonnet Avid DX Thunderbolt Adapter within the new 2017 IMac machines?   I know the new IMac machines use a thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) and this product is a standard Thunderbolt 2.  I’m wondering if it would be possible to hook this up in the following configuration:
   
  Avid Nitris DX
  To
  Sonnet DX Thunderbolt Adapter
  To
  Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 Adapter
   
  Basically just wondering if anyone has tried this work around or any information on the configuration with the new machines and was able to get it to feasibly work?
