Howdy P2 Bovine friends. We are just starting a new gig that our client claims will include 370hours of P2 camera recording. I normally only do jobs of less than 6 hours of footage, so data base thoughts have really never been a focus. But our new client will want to access this footage in a random nature (at the start anyway) and the job will stretch over three years. So my goal is to learn how to use the meta data on the P2 cards, transfer all P2 data to bare esata drives and hopefully find some great-affordable P2 data base software.

Does anybody have experience and can recommend some great P2 / quicktime based data-base software. (Video data base manuals or training.) I was hoping FCPx would step up to that plate, but that does not look promising.
