New dual core G5 and FCP 4.5
I heard yesterday that the new G5’s released in October are NOT compatible with FCP version 4.5.
Apparently the PCI express card is incompatible and to edit with these computers you have to upgrade to FCP 5.
Anybody know anything about this? I haven’t seen Apple mention anything,

I haven’t heard anything from Apple….but I just purchased a Dual 2.0 dual core…. and FCP 4.5 does not work!!! It requires an AGP card and there is not a slot in the new G5 for an AGP, only 4 PCI express. I’m a little upset. Not looking forward to paying for an upgrade.
