New Compressor
So, basically FCP X is out for me, but any reviews with the new compressor? Will it work with fcp 7 and not need FCPX, and same with new motion.

I purchased it and at glance nothing seems new in compressor 5. I don’t even think it’s 64 bit. I uninstalled compressor 4. And in Fcp 7 tried the send to compressor option but it was greyed out. I think you have to export QuickTime movie and drop it in compressor 5.

The new compressor worked fine for me even with an old droplet. It was an automated
Pro Res Conversion. Much faster on 12 core now…
