New bug or annoyance?
I just noticed that after an audio mixdown in FCP 6, the discreet audio levels no longer show up in the individual meters in the audio tool. I’m pretty sure this isn’t the way it worked in 5.x. Just because I’ve mixed down the audio for easier playback, doesn’t mean I don’t want to see the prefader levels. Mixdown should be an invisible process. Pretty sure it always has been in the past. If this was the way things were in 5.x it sure seems like I would’ve noticed over the last 2 years. Or with version 4.x. I mean, if you need to change the level of a track, it’s kind of hard to tell which track to change when mixdown has eliminated all the audio meters!
