  • New Blue titler Lens filter is shaking the text – why?

Posted by Maria Maronska on January 12, 2013 at 12:33 am

I have created a New Blue Titler text in a new project. The only effect applied is Lens Correction. On keyframe 1 the distortion is 0 and zoom is 50, at keyframe 2 (4 seconds later) the distortion is 100 and zoom is 70. So, a very basic effect.

In rendered movie the text is shaking (especially towards the end) and looks bad. Is it a bug and is there a workaround, why is this not working as expected?

An example 4 seconds rendered movie is here:

Sometimes restarting Vegas clears up these little
memory related issues. And double check those keyframe
    values over time.

I finally managed to achieve satisfactory results by changing the effect’s “Background” parameter from “Size to Fit” to “Transparent”.
