New Basic Title, Basic Lower Third in 10.0.3
There are times when you might just want a simple title or lower third. In fact I was looking for this recently.
Under the Edit menu, Connect Title gives you a basic title with extensive controls of font, size, outline, glow, drop shadow. Fill the font face with colour, gradient or texture. The Basic Lower Third is, well, basic. Both can be positioned by double clicking the title on screen and dragging. Thank you, Apple. -

According to Larry Jordan on his blog. There are shortcut keys for that as well. CTRL+T for a fullscreen title, and SHIFT+CTRL+T for a basic lower third. Very cool little detail.
