New Atto drivers and ram
Thought this may interest some of you. I updated the ATTO drivers late last week on my UL5D and had some issues which I brought up in an earlier posting. Jeremy and the guys weighed in and after all was said and done, my vendor Burbank (Melrose) Mac was awesome enough to exchange my 4 sticks of 512’s ram for 2 1 gig sticks for a total of 4 gigs and all now seems to work just fine…….EXCEPT for this weirdness… When trying to import P2 material, the system would freeze. Tried various things, took out 2 gigs (now 2 gigs working) and all was well. After import I put the ram back in and all system worked fine. ATTO of course blames everyone else and AJA guys are investigating, but sure makes no sense………..does it?
