  • new Apple FCP Studio ad, no AJA hardware !

    Hi ,
I just got the new Film and Video trade mag in the mail, and there is a large multi page insert from Apple talking about Final Cut Studio. There are multiple pictures of an edit system (desk level) that shows the Mackie Control Universal on the left (for Soundtrack), and on the right there are TWO different pieces of 1RU hardware, that I don’t recognize. The top unit has LOTS of knobs on it, and the bottom unit looks like a TBC/Frame Sync, but isn’t a DPS/Leitch product. Can anyone identify what this hardware is, and what it’s doing in a FCP ad?

    Thanks –

Without seeing it, it sounds like it’s marketing and a little smoke & mirrors to me.

    Bob,

I saw the ad last nite, and from memory, if you look at the reflection on the desk, it says Rosetta. did a google search and came up with this
    https://www.apogeedigital.com/

Again, trying to remember the specifics of the ad.

Pretty cool ad. I always think its kinda fun to name the equipment on those things. Can anyone name all the equipment on FCP previous ad? the big 2 page spread.
