I’m going to be starting a new animation in the next few weeks. I was thinking about doing it in AE, but it seems like something better suited for a true 3d program, maybe cinema 4d. Basically, I have a song and I want to animate a robot running amok through a city to this song, buildings, maybe inside some of the buildings. However, I like the 2/3d look of AE, is this something I can replicate in cinema 4d? Should I stick to AE and try to refine my technique to work within the program’s constraints? Just wanna see what the professionals think.

    Thanks.
