    Hi all,

I’m testing MC6.5 on a Mac, connecting with AFP to centralised projects and media and all is working well apart from a warning. Everything saves as it should but it just warns it wont anyway. It seems to just be a project setting issue but these can be easily set up as site settings on each networked computer.

I don’t fancy spending lots money on various bits of 3rd party software approved hardware if it is just a case of redirecting a few Avids to a centralised settings/cache folder (permissions seem fine, settings are just written locally automatically and when separate from the .AVP file it instantly complains). – I am thinking this is mostly what the 3rd party network systems do, a redirect and fool – with a nice GUI for multiple users.

I am able to play 5 streams of various 444 with the set up – no other issues yet. A ‘do not warn again tick box’ would suffice …and boom 10k+ saved. Has any one tried file redirecting or know if this would work?

    Thanks,
    N
