  network status window

  an ethernet port on one of the macs at our company has a staic ip addres that is set manually. in the network status window that ethernet port shows up twice…both say they are connected but only one has the manual adress and the other has a dhcp adress. when you go to that ethernet ports setting it has the manual address. only on the network status does it show this.

  does any one know what could be causing this. That connection was having some propblems before but everyting seems to be working fine now.
  the only thing is the the way the ” ethernet 2″ shows up in the network status. (twice)

  any ideas
