  Network Printer setup

  Hello all

  I have uploaded a screen grab of the osx and winxp network printer boxes. I can easily set it up on xp but cannot seem to get it to work on osx, largely due methinks to me not knowing the equivalent names of the empty fields…

  please look at

  on the pc i have to
  1/ set up protocol as LPR
  2/ port name and printer IP address
  3/ Queue name set at LPRServer

  and thats about it.
  I cant figure what the mac equivalents are.
  Does one still put in LPRServer for the Queue?
  I dont see TCP/IP printing, only IPP, LPD and then some manufacturer specific ones.

  If any of you know an easy 1, 2, 3 to replicate what I do on the PC, that would be much appreciated.
