Has anyone had any experience with network drives such as the LaCie 2big Network (2-disk RAID)?
I am going through the mental exercise of P2 through the Express 34 Duel adapter then transferred to a mirrored external drive, in this case making use of the 1000mbps claimed rate from the ethernet connection.

I have had more than 6 LaCie drives fail in the last 2 years…

I trust G-tech a lot more… CalDigit seems to also be good

    Hi Richard,
Was it the drives or the hosts that failed? Same fault each time, or unexplained?

I had 3 Hitachi Deskstars fail within 5 months of each other, corrupted lead sectors was the verdict. Whereas the Travelstars are doing well.

Do you know anything, even here say, about the network drives?
