Hello everybody and thanks for this forum!

I’m actually posting here because I’m having trouble setup a shared storage on a Netstor NA333TB.

What do I need to have the netstor shared with 2x new Mac Pros?

I have 2x Presto Fibre 10GbE cards in the office. I was thinking to have one card into into the netstor, one into a chassis and then share the netstor from the first computer controlling it, with the other. I;m definitely missing something.

    Can anyone please help?

    Thanks

    Hi –
the netstor NA333TB is NOT shared storage. This is a drive array, not a shared storage system. It’s not even a cheapie NAS like a QNAP, Synology, Thecus, ReadyNAS, or (dare I say it) Drobo. Its a DRIVE ARRAY.

You need an IT professional to setup a server for you, that uses the wonderful NA333TB as the shared drive volume. You can then plug this into a hi speed switch, and have shared storage. And for your next question “do I have to dedicate a computer as a server to make this work” – the answer is YES.

    Need some help ?
