    Hi,

everytime I use Illustrator maps to show roads with stroke or gradually blend in cities or whatever to be then placed in a PAL-Comp as 3D layers to animate the camera on I get the same problem. Its something about the “continously rasterize” I don’t get.

If I use a composition with the Illustrator-Map and path/city animation as a 3D Layer in another compostion its either blurry when zooming in or my 3D layer transformations are lost when I turn on the “continuously rasterize” button. Since its vector graphics I never do my map composition too much larger than the PAL comp. Which way is best to keep the vectors in a pre-comp not being rasterized before the final render??? I saw tutorials on this and thought this should work, so am I doing something wrong or do you need to place the AI-Layer itself in our final comp??

    Thanks for any help,

    Karim
