I’m somewhat of a novice to FCP. I imagine there is an easy/quick answer to this question.

When I changed a title in one of my nested items, the change didn’t update in my timeline. Is there something I need to do in order to update/refresh for it to appear?

Sorry for the simple question…can’t seem to figure it out.

    Thanks,

    Brent

    Brent,

I’ve had this issue as well, but it stopped since running FCP 6.
If you’re still on 5, you might try closing and opening your sequence.

    Hey there,

Chances are it’s still reading a render file and therefore hasn’t updated like it should. What I generally do in a situation like this is change the opacity or some other parameter and then change it back – forcing another render. When you do this, it should update.
