Hi, I started to used xrefs in a large project. I have also some scenes with nested xrefs which are resolving properly.
However, I created also central material library which I call and use on each sub-assembly creating only local materials that I know they will be used only in that sub-assembly.

When I assemble the main scene calling all the xrefs (and nested xrefs), I get the same material several times, for example, if my library is called Mlib.c4d, I might get part1::Mlib::White and part2::Mlib::white etc.

The material is the same because it comes from the same library. Is there a way to unify it so that I don’t get repeated materials? It gets really convoluted on a large scene.

Is this the correct way to xref materials?

    Thanks.
