  • Nested Sequences — Can’t hear audio

    Hi all,

I’m working on a large-ish project, and to handle it I’ve divided scenes into sequences, with the hope of combining the sequences as I get closer to a final edit.

I tried it for the first time today, and the darndest thing happened. I selected all of my sequences in the bin, and right clicked to select “new clip from sequence.” a new sequence shows up with all the nested sequences in order. Lovely.

however, I can’t hear audio playing back this nested sequence. I see waveforms (actually, some I don’t, some I do, but who’s counting). I rendered the audio, and that didn’t help. I see levels in the audio monitor, and when I render sequence file out with media encoder, I get levels playing the output file. but no audio in the sequence.

    any ideas?

    thanks,
    aemilia

Render audio. You will find it under Sequence.

I already tried that. No luck, unfortunately. Rendering audio revealed the occasional wave form, but no sound.

    cheers,
