I’m thinking of moving to Premiere Pro from another NLE that does not have nested sequences. My questions are:
    1. if I have sequence 2 nested in sequence 1 and then modify sequence 2, is it automatically updated in sequence 1?
    2. and if it is updated, is it updated in sequence 1 in overwrite or insert mode?
    Thanks

Nested sequences are automatically updated in the nest. However, if the change you make in the nested sequence results in a different runtime (longer or shorter), you would need to correct the I/O point on the nested timeline within the nest timeline.

1 – Sequence 1 (nest) is updated when Sequence 2 (nested) is changed.

    2 – Unsure

Thanks. I’ll play around and see.
